Frequently Asked Questions
Commercial, technical, logistics, and support answers for rapid impact compaction equipment
Commercial Terms & Delivery
Are your RIC prices quoted on an FCA Qingdao Port basis?
Yes. Our prices are based on FCA Qingdao Port, China.
What is the typical lead time after order confirmation?
For one unit, shipment to the designated port in China is generally arranged within 30 working days after receipt of the advance payment. For multiple units, the delivery schedule depends on the confirmed quantity and models.
How is the RIC shipped?
The equipment is shipped in separate modules. For the referenced HC series transport arrangement, one 40-ft open-top container is used, and the shipment is generally divided into hammer, compaction foot, and boom.
Do you handle export documentation?
Yes. We can provide standard export documentation required for shipment, including commercial documents and supporting paperwork as needed for the agreed trade terms.
Certification, IP & References
Do you own the intellectual property rights for the RIC technology supplied?
Yes. All products are self-developed and manufactured by our company, and we can provide full intellectual property rights documentation.
Can you provide CE certificates for the offered HC models?
Yes, CE certification can be provided for applicable HC models. If you require confirmation for a specific model, please contact us with the exact model number.
Can you provide project references outside China?
Yes. We can provide a selection of overseas project references in markets such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Angola, Maldives, and other regions. As the equipment manufacturer, we do not directly execute on-site construction, so project design and implementation details are generally controlled by our clients.
Service & Installation Support
What are the conditions for on-site installation and commissioning abroad?
We can arrange technical personnel to travel for installation and commissioning. Each technician requires a daily remuneration of USD 150, and the customer needs to cover transportation, accommodation, and meals. Assistance with entry procedures, such as invitation letters, is also required.
Do you provide video guidance for installation?
Yes. Remote installation guidance by video is available and is often the most practical option when on-site service is not required.
What warranty and spare parts support do you offer?
We provide standard warranty coverage and can also supply critical spare parts such as cushion pads, cylinders, sensors, control boxes, control cables, and other wear or support components depending on the model.
Machine Configuration & Structure
Is the RIC equipment fully manufactured in-house?
The hammer, hydraulic cylinder, and some components are sourced from qualified suppliers, while the frame and boom are designed and manufactured in-house.
Is a dedicated or customized excavator boom required?
Yes. The original excavator boom needs to be removed, and we manufacture a new customized boom after confirming the excavator parameters.
Is the excavator boom included in the RIC supply scope?
Yes. The excavator boom is included in the RIC supply scope.
Where is the accumulator installed?
After design improvement, all accumulators are integrated into the RIC unit, so no additional accumulator installation is required on the excavator.
Do you offer a quick hitch style connection between the boom and hammer?
The connection principle we use is the same as the quick hitch concept illustrated by customers in technical discussions.
Are the hammer rams made as one-piece blocks or segmented assemblies?
All hammer rams, including the 5t, 7t, and 9t units, are made as solid one-piece blocks.
Mechanical Design, Foot & Cushion System
What are the ram masses for HC60, HC84 and HC108?
The specified ram masses are HC60: 5.0 t, HC84: 7.0 t, and HC108: 9.0 t.
What are the rated impact energies for HC60, HC84 and HC108?
The rated impact energies are HC60: 60 kJ, HC84: 84 kJ, and HC108: 108 kJ. These are also the maximum impact energies stated for these models.
What is the hammer lifting height?
The drop hammer lifting height is 1.4 m.
How is the compaction foot attached to the frame?
The drive cap has a welded assembly structure, and the compaction foot is attached to the frame with bolts.
Are cushion pads installed between the drive cap and the compaction foot?
Yes. Cushion pads are installed between the drive cap and the compaction foot.
What are the standard compaction foot diameters?
Standard diameters are HC60: 1250 mm, HC84: 1250 mm, and HC108: 1500 mm. Customized compaction foot diameters are also available upon request.
What is the cushion material and its melting point?
The cushion pad is made from imported nylon raw material and has a melting point of approximately 230°C. It is designed to provide impact resistance, wear resistance, buffering performance, and noise reduction.
Hydraulic System & Data Logging
What is the blow rate range?
The typical blow rate range is 30-80 BPM.
Is a hammer control panel included as standard?
Yes. The hammer control panel is included as standard.
Is a data logging system available?
Yes. A data logging system is available as an option and requires additional cost.
Which parameters can be recorded by the optional data logging system?
The system can record and display compaction point layout, impact energy, number of blows, soil settlement or achieved compaction depth, and working or compaction time.
What export format is available for the recorded data?
Data can be exported in Excel format.
Noise, Safety & Project Use
Has the equipment been used in noise-sensitive environments?
Yes. Our rapid impact compaction systems have been used in China and international markets, including urban and airport-related environments, without known noise-related operational restrictions in those projects.
What kinds of overseas project references can you share?
Examples include multiple units in Medina, Saudi Arabia; Abu Dhabi in the UAE; Singapore; Saudi airport and oil processing projects; Indonesia; Hong Kong International Airport; Angola; Maldives; and other international applications.
