By directly installing it on a loader or excavator, it directly borrows the hydraulic power output of the excavator and loader. Compacting operations, therefore, rapid impact compaction are also known as loader rapid impact compactor or excavator rapid impact compactor.

The rapid impact compactor adopts the working principle of dynamic compaction technology, using kinetic energy to convert into impact energy to compact the soil, but with different strokes and frequencies. The impact stroke of the rapid impact compactor is about 200~1600mm, the frequency is fast, the continuous pulse can reach about 30 times/min, the stroke of the dynamic compactor can reach more than 10 meters, and the frequency is extremely low, which can be regarded as a single pulse.

The diameter of the rammer under the rapid impact compactor and the center distance between the ramming point and the ramming point are mostly 10 meters.5 meters. In order to avoid the impact on the abutment during the ramming process, the first row of tamping points should keep a certain distance from the abutment, and it is recommended to keep a distance of 1.0 meters.

The minimum distance between the outer edge of the rammer at the operating point of the rapid impact compactor and the bridge and the culvert structure shall be determined according to the field test. It is suggested that the minimum distance between the rammer, side bridge and culvert structure at the operating point should not be less than 50cm, and the thickness of the fill at the top of the transverse structure should not be less than 2m.

High-grade tamping is recommended for the first two rows near the abutment to increase the tamping effect and depth impact and help cut off the piping.

In order to meet the requirements of different construction conditions, the rapid impact compaction machine is divided into three gears: strong, medium and weak according to the compaction capacity. In the process of use, the user should use the correct gear reasonably according to different construction requirements, and adjust the tamping energy and tamping frequency.

In addition, in order to improve the compaction effect and ensure the compaction quality, the rapid impact compaction equipment can adopt the layered compaction operation method when compacting the back of the abutment.

Although the rapid impact compactor has a large impact force for compaction, the compaction depth is 1~3 meters, and the impact depth is 4~10 meters. . When the test results do not meet the design requirements, tamping measures should be taken, and the tamping plan should be adjusted until the design requirements are met.
